At the age of 40 years, Suzan was diagnosed as Autistic with PDA and ADHD.
In her early years, school had felt unmanageable and she was often left feeling angry, scared, and exhausted. Despite her struggles, she found a way to educate herself by exploring different paths.
Over the next 30 years, she worked as a teacher, specialist headteacher, and SENCO, but she always felt like an outsider, battling to find her place in the world.
Suzan now supports families who are navigating the complex journey of raising a child with different needs.
The Wildheart Foundation, focuses specifically on ways to support children struggling with school, having developed ways to empower every child to ignite their love of learning in a harmonious and supportive environment.
