Jane

I am an experienced Secondary English teacher with lived experience of autism. I am autistic as are two of my three teenaged children. I have spent the past three years focusing my teaching on developing conflict-resolution skills, using restorative justice techniques and nurture training. The latter in particular helps me support young people in deprived areas to learn about their body/emotion connections, emotional regulation and co-regulation skills. I have worked in mainstream secondary schools as well as juvenile secure units, supporting some of the UK's most vulnerable and traumatised young people. I have seen RAWC methods transform for the better the lives of very unhappy young people and their families.  I live in KA30.

I provide online and in-person sessions.
